Tracks warranties and service contracts
Monitors maintenance history
Aids budget and replacement planning

Creating an Asset

Go to Facilities > Assets.
Click Add Asset.
Required:
Name
Type
Location
Optional:
Description, serial/model #, manufacturer
Purchase/warranty info
Service provider
Cost/depreciation data
Attach manuals, photos, warranty PDFs
Embed up to 5 YouTube reference videos (common repairs, setup, etc)
Best Practices

Start with 20–30 critical assets (HVAC, elevators, pool equipment).
Moveable assets should always have a “home” location.
Use naming conventions:
- “Lobby-AC1”
- “PTAC-4589” (last 4 serial #)
