How to Inactivate or Delete a Chart of Account?

Delete a COA

1. Navigate to Accounting / Settings / Chart of Account page.

2. Click on the Chart of Account that you want to delete or edit. This would open the Edit COA details page.

3. Click on the Delete COA button present on the top right.

Note: Fixed COA's cannot be edited.

Inactivate a COA

1. Navigate to Accounting / Settings / Chart of Account page.

2. Click on the Chart of Account that you want to Inactivate. This would open the Edit COA details page.

3. Select the status as Inactive and Click on the Save button present on the top right.

Note: Fixed COA's cannot be edited.
